Writing with AI
AI is one of the most useful tools writers have picked up in a long time. It can help us brainstorm ideas, tighten copy, and try routes we might not have reached on our own. It can also—if we're not careful—put customer trust and confidential information at risk.
Please read these resources before working with AI, then bring the same craft and care to AI-assisted writing that you bring to everything else. Because AI can help you draft, but it can't replace your voice or your judgment.
A few habits that matter most
Never input confidential, customer, or proprietary information into a public AI tool. Approved tools only.
Treat AI output as a draft, not a deliverable. Every piece still needs your review and edit. Disclose AI use when required. Check the policy for when and how.
